Suji Thalipith(Dosa)


Ingredients :

1) 1 cup coarse Rava(sooji)
2) Curd (just enough to cover the rava)
3) 2 green chillies, chopped
4) 1/2 onion, chopped
5) 1 tspn ginger,garlic Paste
6) 3-4 curry leaves, chopped
7) 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
8)Grated Coconut,
9) 1 pinch sugar
10) salt to taste

Method :

  • Mix rava & the curd and keep aside for about 15 mins for the rava to soak properly. The rava puffs up just a bit.
  • This dough however should be bit more softer so that it can be flattened to small discs with hand.
  • Heat a Pan. Keep on medium heat. Drizzle the pan with some oil.
  • Place a small round of the dough on the pan .
  • Dip your hands in water and flatten the dough to form uniform round discs like a pancake.
  • Keep some water in a cup to dip your hands, so that the dough does not stick to your hands.
  • Drizzle some oil around like for dosa .
  • Turn other side and cook till golden brown.
  • Serve with ketchup or achar.
